Tomorrow worked with Vitra HQ on launching the new Vitra Garden, a 4000 sq metre oasis in front of the VitraHaus on the Vitra Campus. It was designed by acclaimed Dutch garden designer Piet Oudolf,  who is responsible for the iconic High Line garden in New York. The Vitra garden began to take shape in the spring of 2020 by planting the first of over 30,000 plants, ensuring interest in the garden throughout each season.

At this early stage, Tomorrow approached Wallpaper* magazine about the story and worked with them for many months on a UK-exclusive interview with Piet Oudolf and Vitra’s chairman emeritus, Rolf Fehlbaum, who commissioned the garden. The story evolved to include Piet designing the subscriber cover of the August issue of Wallpaper* magazine, which also had a 5-page feature on the garden. Wallpaper* also previewed the story online to coincide with the garden’s official opening on 30th June. Other coverage secured included Dezeen, ICON and Monocle.
