Tomorrow Clients at Salone del Mobile 2016

The Tomorrow team is decamping to Milan next week for the annual Salone del Mobile or Milan Furniture Fair. This year four of our clients are exhibiting. SCP is returning to the main Fiera this year to showcase six new sofas and some additional new furniture pieces, while David Rockwell and the Rockwell Group are launching a new furniture collection for Stellar Works in the Wallpaper* Magazine Arcade in San Gregorio Docet. Also in San Gregorio, PINCH will debut several new pieces including a new copper version of their much lauded Nim table. Finally Japanese textile company Hosoo have partnered with Danish Design studio OeO to present a dynamic selection of new screens in Zona Tortona. Click more for detailed information on each client. David Rockwell presents the Valet Collection for Stellar Works at the Wallpaper* Arcade

Stellar Works and David Rockwell have announced their first collaboration to be launched at Salone del Mobile 2016 – Valet by David Rockwell. For Valet, Rockwell explores a new furniture typology that supports everyday living, working, and entertaining. With tactile and refined materials and details, including full-grain saddle leather, American walnut, black steel, and brushed brass, the 14 piece collection redefines the essentials of modern living and fits seamlessly into home or hospitality environments. From lounge seating to customizable shelving, each of the 14 pieces in the collection has a streamlined functionality. Luxurious embellishments—from leather cords to matte brass hardware—double as subtle tools for living well. Grouped together in endless combinations, the pieces help create natural transitions in the home or hospitality setting and from work to play.

SCP Return to the Fiera
Iconic British Brand Showcases New Sofa Designs

The centrepiece of SCP’s Fiera exhibition is the new Sofa in Sight upholstery collection, which presents six sofas by six designers: Michael Anastassiades, Konstantin Grcic, Faudet-Harrison, Matthew Hilton, Lucy Kurrein and Terence Woodgate. The collection is a showcase of SCP’s unique modern upholstery making. SCP also present new furniture designs from Matthew Hilton, Faudet-Harrison, Reiko Kaneko, Peter Marigold, Michael Marriott, Oscar Coakley and Donna Wilson, alongside an entire new textile collection by Hannah Waldron.

PINCH launch four new pieces including Copper Nim in San Gregorio Docet

London-based design studio PINCH, founded by Russell Pinch and Oona Bannon, launch four new pieces at this year’s Salone del Mobile. The new pieces include an addition to the Nim series of limited edition coffee tables, this time produced in copper Jesmonite, as well as the Euler coffee table, Menton desk and Iona Tall Cheval mirror.
PINCH will be taking over an old Milanese shoe shop in the dynamic and creative design hub of San Gregorio, Milan, where they will present the new pieces alongside a special installation featuring some of the brand’s signature pieces.

HOSOO and OeO Present Prologue – A New Screen Concept In Zona Tortona

Kyoto-based textile company HOSOO will showcase an exciting new design creation by Copenhagen based design studio, OeO, for the Salone del Mobile. Prologue is a sophisticated, versatile and flexible screen concept made from beautiful Nishijin textiles. It can serve as a spatial element or piece of furniture, hung from the ceiling or standing on the floor, adding a subtle accent to a room, whether in a restaurant, hotel, gallery or a residential setting. Twenty screens will be showcased in Milan, each distinctly unique, with silk-woven gold and silver washi paper shreds running throughout.
