For this year’s London Design Festival SCP, the London-based design retailer and manufacturer staged an exhibition called Sofa In Sight. Earlier in the year, Tomorrow secured major features looking back at the company’s impressive history in a range of publications including Wallpaper*, Telegraph Luxury and The Guardian Weekend. For Sofa in Sight and LDF, SCP highlighted their core expertise: upholstery making. Six designers including Matthew Hilton, Michael Anastassiades, Lucy Kurrein, Terrence Woodgate, Faudet-Harrison and Konstantin Grcic each created a new SCP sofa that was exhibited at SCP’s Shoreditch flagship. In advance of the show, Tomorrow worked with Disegno magazine on an exclusive process story focusing on the development of Michael Anastassiades’ new Rochester Sofa and secured a cover story in the November issue of OnOffice magazine with the designer. A press preview was organised for LDF, which was attended by over 30 key UK and international press. Additional stories on the project also appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Telegraph and Elle Decoration.
