Entrance to Hermes Wanderland Saatchi Gallery

Hermes Wanderland

This weekend I headed to the Saatchi Gallery to check out Wanderland, an exhibition by Hermes that celebrates Flanerie, or urban wandering. This immersive show has transformed the upper galleries at Saatchi into a series of 11 vignettes through which you are invited to wander. Curated by Bruno Gaudichon, with scenography by Hubert le Gall, each room presents installations in various media alongside objects that have been gathered from Hermes’ extensive archive. Feeling a little like Alice and her adventures in Wonderland, the show is a whimsical and wacky, yet beautifully realised journey through the world of Hermes. Catch Wanderland ASAP, as the show leaves London soon for stops in both Milan and Paris.
